SWEET AFTON is a lyrical poem written by Robert Burns (1759-1796) describing the Afton Water in Ayshire, Scotland.  Frequently set to music, this version by C.M. Shearer is written for either male or female 2-part choirs, with the SA version in A and the TB version in C.  Both versions are included.
