Fission

This piece for two marimba players challengers the musicians, not with the individual parts, but with the musicianship required to combine the two parts together.  Full of hemiola patterns, syncopated ostinato figures, and ephemeral musical phrases, this is a wonderful selection for a recital of advanced keyboard percussionists.
