The Pittsburgh New Music Ensemble commissioned founder and composer David Stock's "Available Light" for its 20th Anniversary Season. The work is essentially a 3-movement chamber symphony for 13 players, which music writer Andrew Druckenbrod desribed as: "imbued with a compelling compositional line and writing that shows off the entire ensemble."
